Mission Statement
To provide an affordable and professional counselling service to all communities and individuals
in Portsmouth and surrounding areas, but especially to those people suffering poverty and exclusion
and whose lives are marginalised and outside mainstream.
Cross Cultural Counselling
Free Counselling Sessions
We can offer 12 free confidential counselling sessions to anyone from a black or
minority ethnic group including refugees and asylum seekers.
Counselling gives you a safe place to talk about your problems and express your
feelings with a trained professional counsellor.
We can provide an interpreter if required.
Once you have made contact you will have an initial assessment session and can then
arrange a day and time that you can meet your counsellor for the 12 sessions.
This service forms part of a wider cross cultural project funded by The Big Lottery which also
offers free training for interpreters and free places on a basic counselling skills course.
You can download the current leaflet for more information.
