Basic Counselling Skills Course

Are you interested in developing further skills in Counselling?

For individuals wishing to learn about themselves and to acquire Basic Counselling Skills for use at work, home or in the community.

The aim of the course will enable to help you:

  • Get to understand yourself and others
  • Build your confidence and self esteem
  • Learn to communicate more effectively

Students will be from diverse backgrounds and you will increase your cross cultural awareness and understanding. The skills you learn will enable you to help others in your local community.

The course starts in September and runs on a Thursday afternoon 1.00 - 5.00pm throughout the year during term time.

A certificate is awarded after successful completion of 120 hours of training.

The course equips you to be accepted as an entry qualification for a Diploma and to a degree in Counselling. Previous participants have gone on to study at University of Chichester and Eastleigh College.

The cost is £400.
