Mission Statement
To provide an affordable and professional counselling service to all communities and individuals
in Portsmouth and surrounding areas, but especially to those people suffering poverty and exclusion
and whose lives are marginalised and outside mainstream.
Translator Training
Translators Required
Are you fluent in English as a second language?
We have many clients who need a translator during their counselling sessions.
We can provide free training, paid work may be available, subject to approval, and ongoing
support. All languages are required.
We welcome asylum seekers who are willing to volunteer their time and language
skills to support our clients.
The courses are relaxed and friendly and run 3 times a year. Come and learn new
skills and help someone take control of their life.
Upcoming Courses
The next translator training will be on Saturday 18th September 2010, Sunday
19th September 2010 and Saturday 25 September 2010. The closing date for applications is 14th September 2010.
